One of my favorite quilted wall hangings is my fall bargello. Filled with golds, reds, browns and greens, it decorates my kitchen wall each autumn. Visiting France last year inspired me to plan a brightly flowered bargello to hang in that same spot in the early months of spring. When I found, in my favorite fabric store a design with some funky street scenes from Paris, I knew what my focus fabric would be. Other soft and bright colored fabrics from my stash called out to me to meet up together -- if not in a cafe on a Paris street, then on my wall on Venice Rd. in Pittsburgh.
